don't do large commercial sites with shopping carts and secure ordering
forms, we can design a great, simple web site to give you a presence on
the net. Maybe you want to advertise your business, post your resume
and portfolio, or show off pictures of your kids. Or, maybe you just
feel it's about time you got your own web address. We can help you
get started. And with prices starting at just $225, it's an affordable way to get your message across.

Rates
Standard web site (up to five pages) - $500*
Each page may include one photo, logo, basic text, and contact
information. One of the pages may be a "photo" page including up to
10 images. Additional images may be added at a cost of $5 each.
For web sites with more than five pages, add $50 per page and $5 per each
additional image.
Smaller web sites*
One page - $125 - includes one photo,
logo, basic text, and contact information.
Two pages - $250 - each page may have one photo, a logo, basic text, and
contact information.
Three pages - $350 - each page may have one photo, a logo, basic text, and
contact information.
Four pages - $450 - each page may have one photo, a logo, basic text, and
contact information.
Additional images are $10 each.
The wedding web site - $350*
We can create a web site to help you keep family and friends informed
about your big event - and about your life beyond! The initial
three-page site can include a "home page" featuring a photo of
you and your intended, some background about the two of you, and details
about your wedding date and location - including a countdown clock!
Page two can feature up to 10 photos of your choice (these could be pix of
your bridal party, the shower, or anything else that's significant to
you). Page three can include extras such as contact information,
special poems, lyrics to your wedding song, notes of thanks to special
people, etc.
After the big day, you can add a page for wedding, reception, and
honeymoon photos - $100 for a page with 10 photos, or $150 for a page with
20 photos.
Information and photos added later (your first home, a new BABY!) are
subject to the then-current hourly rate.
Updates - $55/hour*
Billed in 15 minute increments. Updates are any changes or additions to existing pages requested 30 days after
your web site is
made live. If you require additional web pages, we will add them at
the hourly, not per page, rate. We can negotiate a set monthly fee
if you will require frequent updates.
Domain registration/web hosting
You may register and post your site with any company you choose. Because
these services are offered by a third party and not affiliated in any way
with our business, Moran Photography and Graphic Design is not responsible
for any problems that may arise from these arrangements.
$57.99/year - Through your-site.com,
if paid biannually ($4/month x 24 months + $9.99 domain name registration
each year = $115.98 for two years). We use this web host for our own site and several
others we've designed.
$35/year - Through
mister.net. We currently have one site hosted through this
company and while they don't offer as many features as your-site, the
service has proven to be reliable.
We can facilitate account set-up if you'd
like, although you retain ownership of and responsibility for the account.
Free - Free sites are available through Yahoo's
geocities or similar services, although you won't get your own domain
name, and you might have banner or pop up ads on your site. You are
responsible for account set-up and maintenance. Simply provide us
with a user name and password to enable us to upload the web site we
design.
Other - You may choose from the countless local, national, and
international registrars and web hosting services available (or continue
service if you have an existing account). Simply provide us with a
user name and password to enable us to upload the web site we design.
How it works
Once we've created a draft of your website, we will make it live by
posting the site to a private section of our own web site (for example,
www.moranpix.com/draft.html) and provide a special link for you
to review.
You have 30 days from the date the site becomes live to request any
changes or additions.
Payment
On the day we make the draft of your web site live, we will also send you the
invoice for services rendered. You do not have to submit your payment for
30 days, but we will not move the site to its permanent location until we receive full payment.
Any changes or additions you request during the first 30 days will be made
at no additional charge. We must add 6% PA sales tax
to the bill. Please see our

INFORMATION
1. Photos,
logos, and text must be
supplied by the client. We will be happy to proof and/or copy edit any text
supplied. If you do not have any photos, we can provide photography
services at 20% off our standard
photography rates.
While a logo is not necessary, we can design one for you at 20% off our
standard design
rate.
2. Except for possible size adjustment, we will post your images "as is." If you request any touch-ups (red-eye
reduction, etc.), a surcharge of $5 for each corrected image will be
added. Animated .gifs (moving images) such as our
fireplace animation
can add appeal to your site. Many animated .gifs are available at
free sites online, but we can customize one from a photo you provide for
an additional $50.
3. For smaller web sites (four pages or less) pages cannot exceed
printable size (8.5" x 10.25"). Any content that exceeds this size
must be added to an additional page.
4. Any changes or corrections to the initial site must be made within 30
days after the site is made live! Any change or correction after 30 days
is considered an update and will be billed at $55/hour. |
